What is Sports Psychology?
I see the person in front of me before the athlete. I promote psychological flexibility with my clients at home, at work, in sport, in general situations and within relationships. This provides them with the understanding to accept thoughts and feelings to lead a values-driven and meaningful life.
Intense environments such as sport, call for optimal performance under pressure. Having the right tools and strategies to compete in these moments is a key area I focus on with my clients. While I help my clients with short-term rewards related to their field, through evidence-based practice, I give more attention to long-term success that ultimately gives my clients the skills and opportunities to reach their full potential on and off the pitch.
